The Just Girls program provides girls ages 11-17 in Burke County with a gender specific group and individual counseling program. Just Girls is designed to assist those girls needing help with anger management, emotional regulation, depression, issues resulting from abuse, and girls beginning to exhibit behavior that could lead to involvement in the court system. Referrals to the program can come from schools, court system, mental health providers, churches, families, and the community. The program provides group therapy, skills development, and opportunities for strengthening positive bonds with school, family, and community.
